Publishing Your Own Blog
Writing and publishing a blog can be an excellent way to promote your website. It's like newsletter but it's a website, you write your thoughts and news there. You may write tutorials, product reviews or anything preferably close to your website's topic and of course, add your website's link!
Some main blogging websites, I use Blogger because it gives me enough freedom to do things and it's integrated with my Google account.
There are even websites promoting blogs. One is Technorati. They are sort of directories of blogs rating the content.

This is a really big thing to think about. I like Ken Evoy's words about pre-selling, not selling. They are actually pretty self-explanatory but still people just don't remember or somehow use them.
